Cable FAQ

Will I always get the maximum advertised speed?

The cable supports the listed maximum speed. Actual transfer speed depends on the slowest part of your setup, including your computer port, charger, dock, storage device, and SSD.

Can one HALOBAND USB-C cable handle charging, data, and video?

Yes, when your connected devices support those features. Check the product specifications above to choose the required bandwidth, charging power, and display support.

Can the 240W cable charge every device at 240W?

The USB 80Gbps Super Cable supports up to 240W Power Delivery. The actual charging rate is negotiated by your device and charger, so both must support the requested power level.

Are HALOBAND USB-C cables compatible with Thunderbolt devices?

The USB 80Gbps, USB 4, USB-C 20Gbps, and Universal Super Cable product pages list compatibility with Thunderbolt 3 and 4 devices. Available features depend on the connected hardware.

Which cable should I choose for an older iPhone with a Lightning port?

Choose the USB-C to Lightning cable for a USB-C charger and faster charging support, or the USB-A to Lightning cable for a traditional USB-A charger.

Bitcube NVMe SSD Enclosure

The Bitcube is a portable M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure with up to 2800MB/s read/write speeds, support for SSDs up to 8TB, and compatibility with Thunderbolt 3/4, USB4, and USB 3.2 devices.

Which SSDs work with Bitcube?

Bitcube supports M.2 NVMe SSDs. Check that your SSD is NVMe before installation.

Why is the drive not showing up on my computer?

A new SSD may need to be initialized and formatted before it appears in Finder or File Explorer. Also confirm that the SSD is fully seated and that your cable and port support data transfer.

Why is my transfer speed lower than 2800MB/s?

Performance depends on the SSD, file size, computer port, cable, operating system, and workload. Use a high-bandwidth USB4 or Thunderbolt connection for the best results.
